증상

Java Runtime Environment(JRE) 설치 프로세스 중에 다음 메시지가 나타납니다.
'/bin/hotspot/jvm.dll 에서 Java Runtime Environment를 로드할 수 없습니다.'
원인

레지스트리 키가 손상되었거나 설치가 완료되지 않았기 때문에 문제가 발생한 것일 수 있습니다.
해결책

deployment.properties 파일 삭제 deployment.properties 파일을 제거한 다음 설치를 다시 실행합니다. deployment.properties 파일은 일반적으로 'C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment'(username은 사용자의 로그인 이름) 디렉토리에 위치합니다. 설치 프로세스 중에 새 deployment.properties 파일이 만들어집니다.

deployment.properties 파일을 제거하려면 다음 단계를 수행합니다.
  1. 시작 > 내 컴퓨터를 누릅니다.
  2. '\Documents and Settings' 디렉토리로 이동합니다.
  3. username 하위 디렉토리로 이동합니다(username은 사용자 컴퓨터의 로그인 이름).
