Use appropriate uppercase or quotes to search for an exact match. Enclosing lengthy text within quotes (for example, "dangerous missions to far off mystical lands") can significantly narrow down the results. However, because this method is restrictive, it may also produce no search results.
Using a minus sign (-) in front of a search query will alter your search results by excluding that term. For example, the results for the following search query would not include action games: mobile game -action
Occasionally, it takes several tries to find the information you're looking for. To make your search more effective, adopt the following suggestions.
Be specific:
Type in query terms that are unique or that contain descriptive words. For example, a search for "games" can return results that include mobile, desktop, business, and other games. If you are interested in desktop games only, add that term. Optionally, you can also exclude other terms by entering a minus symbol in front of them, for example, -mobile.
Use alternates: Synonyms can help. For example, the Java Runtime Environment is also referred to as the JRE.
Verify your spelling: Ensure that your query terms are typo-free.
Search does not recognize special characters, such as ?, %, $, !, and the like.
