How do I resolve problems running Pogo games?

SYMPTOMS
- A Java crash occurs while running an Pogo game and a text (.log) file hs_err_pid is placed on the desktop. The error message similar to one below appears in the file.
A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x00880249, pid=2592, tid=6028
JRE version: 6.0_29-b11
- Some Pogo games freeze
SOLUTION
Java 6 update 30, and higher, resolves freezing or crashing issues that many people have seen with some Pogo games. We recommend installing the latest release of Java for resolution of these issues.
