Power Teacher grade book stopped working after upgrade to Java 7 on Mac

SYMPTOMS

After upgrade to Java version 7 on Mac, some applications like Power Teacher grade book and PowerSchool from Pearsons School system no longer works.

CAUSE

Root cause of this issue is still under investigation.

SOLUTION

As Oracle is not the maker of this software, it has little or no knowledge about the cause of this issue. It is best to contact the software vendor directly as the issue may or may not be related to Oracle's Java. Report the issue to support at Pearsons School Systems
